Rulings

From the Rosetta + 1st Strike release notes
  • Flourish generates a replacement effect that modifies the next time an attack receives a power increase from an effect.
  • Flourish’s replacement effect will only modify power increases to attacks after Flourish resolves. It does not retroactively modify power increases for effects that have already been applied.
  • Flourish’s replacement effect applies to effects that increase the power of a weapon’s attack (e.g. Redwood Hammer). However, Flourish’s replacement effect does not apply to power gained by a weapon (e.g. Anothos) even while it’s attacking as there is a difference between a weapon gaining power and a weapon attack gaining power. Any increase to a weapon’s power will be reflected in the weapon’s attack; however, this is not considered an increase to the weapon’s attack.
  • Flourish’s replacement effect will not apply to power increases from +power counters.
  • If an effect that was modified by Flourish were to no longer apply to an attack, but then is re-applied to that attack later, the application of Flourish’s replacement effect on that particular effect would be lost and no longer modify it when it is reapplied.

Keyword notes

Go again - Go again allows multiple actions to be played in a turn when usually playing an action with use up your action point, and therefore end your turn. A card with go again gives the controller of that card or activated ability 1 action point when it resolves.
  • When an action with go again resolves, its controller gains 1 action point.
  • Multiple instances of go again on the same card or activated ability do not stack. If a card or activated ability has multiple instances of go again when it resolves its controller gains 1 action point only.
  • If an action with go again does not resolve, its controller does not gain 1 action point.
  • You cannot reveal a card with no power to Belittle. The card must have a value to its power that is 3 or less. (0 is a value)
