Flesh and Blood editions and art treatments

Two things a collector id does not tell you: the edition, a mark the early sets carried for their first print run, and the treatment, the way the art sits on the card. Counted over 10,287 printings of 5,304 cards; 8,913 printings come from sets without edition marks.

Alpha, First Edition, Unlimited

Welcome to Rathe's first print run was the Alpha print, marked on the card, and its reprint came Unlimited. From Arcane Rising on the first run carried a First Edition mark instead, with the Unlimited reprint following months later; the mark is what tells the two apart, the collector id is the same. The first run also had the better premium-foil slot, as LSS's own breakdown lines below say. The dataset records Everfest as First Edition only, and from Uprising (2022) on no set carries an edition mark.

The six art treatments

fab-cube tags a printing with a treatment when its art or text differs from the plain version of the card. A treatment can sit on one finish only, an Extended Art rainbow foil next to a plain standard, and the card pages mark the finish it belongs to.
