Corrosive Space Dust (Red)

Corrosive Space Dust’s first ability triggers when it leaves the arena (e.g. when it is destroyed, when it is banished, etc.). This is a targeted effect: you must target a hero when you add the triggered effect to the stack. When the triggered effect resolves, you will deal 1 damage to that targeted hero.

Destroying Corrosive Space Dust as part of using and applying its Ward X prevention effect can cause it to trigger its triggered ability. You will add this triggered effect to the stack the next time effects can be added to the stack (typically before players receive priority).

If you destroy Flicker Reality by applying its Ward effect to reduce the damage of a single damage event, you will not be able to put a holo counter from its triggered effect on Corrosive Space Dust in time for its Ward 1 value to change to Ward 4/3/2 and apply it to that same damage event. This is because you will add Flicker Reality’s triggered effect to the stack the next time effects can be added to the stack (typically before players receive priority), which is after the damage has already been finalized and dealt.
