Rulings
From the Arcane Rising release notes
- Cognition Nodes requires an action point to play as it is an action.
- You may not defend with Cognition Nodes (from your hand) as it does not have a defense value.
- You may use the action ability even if it already has one or more steam counters on it, however it will not put a steam counter on it.
- The attack still counts as an attack and a chain link on the combat chain even when it is put on the bottom of your deck.
