Recede to Mistform (Blue)

The cost value of X is determined at the time the card is declared to be played so that X resources can be paid, and the cost value for the purposes of effects (e.g. Frost Lock).

When Recede to Mistform resolves, you will choose X equipment with the cloaked ability you have equipped, where X is equal to the cost value declared when playing the card. You will turn those chosen equipment face-down.

You can declare the value of X = 0 when playing Recede to Mistform. If you do, you do not turn any equipment face-down.

When Recede to Mistform resolves, you must choose X number of equipment with cloaked if able. If the number of equipment with cloaked is less than the value of X, you must choose all of the available equipment with cloaked.

When objects in the arena are turned from face-up to face-down, they will still count as the same object and will retain any counters on it when turned face-down (e.g. any -1 counters, energy counters, etc.). This is a rule change beginning with Compendium of Rathe.
