Golden Grail

To activate Golden Grail’s activated ability, you either pay the resource cost or destroy a Gold you control. This can be a Gold token, or a card that counts as a Gold (e.g. Golden Galea.)

An attack has wagered if a wager effect has been established and that wager’s result is dependent on that attack hitting or not.

Golden Grail will only generate the conditional effect to gain if the activated ability is used to attack. For example, if Beckon Steel or And Again… is used to attack with Golden Grail, and that attack wagers, it will not get the increase in .

Once generated, Golden Grail’s conditional effect is a static-ability that will continuously check if this attack has wagered, not only on resolution of its activation.
