Crash Site Salvage (Yellow)

Scrap

When this attacks, if it scrapped a card, this gets go again. If a cog was scrapped this way, create a Gold token.

Rulings

From the Omens of the Third Age release notes
  • Crash Site Salvage’s second ability triggers when it resolves on the stack and becomes an attacking card on the combat chain. Whether or not you scrapped a card as part of paying this card’s Scrap additional cost is checked when the triggered effect resolves. If you did, Crash Site Salvage gets go again. Additionally, if the card that was scrapped this way has the cog subtype, you will create a Gold token.

Keyword notes

  • Scrap is optional. You must declare whether you will pay the additional cost before paying any other costs (i.e. before pitching).
  • The card that is banished to pay a Scrap cost is considered scrapped.
  • You can not pay a Scrap cost if you can not banish an item or equipment from your graveyard.
