Rulings

From the Compendium of Rathe release notes
  • Tiger Trap triggers when it becomes a defending card on the combat chain and the attacking hero currently controls 3 or more attacks with power greater than their base. When the triggered effect resolves, it will generate a continuous effect that will prevent attacks they control from gaining power for the remainder of this turn. This includes any attacks currently on the combat chain as well as any future attacks this turn.
  • When determining whether or not the attacking hero currently controls 3 or more attacks power greater than their base, you will count the current number of attacks with power greater than their base on the combat chain. This includes attack action cards or attacks currently being represented by their objects (e.g. weapons, allies). Attacks that are no longer on their chain links such as those that were removed from the combat chain (e.g. Endless Arrow, Double Strike) or a previous weapon/ally attack where the weapon/ally is no longer representing the attack on the chain link do not count in this determination.
  • This will remove any +power effects currently modifying any remaining attacks on previous chain links but not retroactively reduce any damage dealt by those attacks. Additionally, this effect will not remove any effects that reduce power or set the value of power. When determining the power of attacks that are no longer on the combat chain, last known information (LKI) is used to determine the power right before it ceased to exist and will not be changed by this effect.
