From the Compendium of Rathe release notes
  • When resolving Rip Off the Top, you will draw a card first, then you will pitch a card randomly from your hand. If you successfully pitch a card this way, you will gain resource points equal to the pitched card’s value and if that pitched card has 6 or more power, your next attack this turn (e.g. weapon attack, ally attack, attack action card, etc.) will get +3power.
  • When you pitch cards from resolving Rip Off the Top, it can still trigger effects due to pitching and you still gain the resources from pitching (e.g. you would gain 3 resources if it was a blue card, etc).
  • When resolving Rip Off the Top, there is no priority between any of the effects generated by the card (e.g. drawing a card, pitching a random card)
  • If you cannot draw a card, you will still randomly pitch a card.
  • If a card that is being pitched is in a private state, it is shown and made public first before it is moved to the pitch zone. If you are under an effect that says you can’t pitch a specific card (e.g. Chains of Eminence) you will not be able to pitch that card and it will remain in your hand. In this scenario, if you could not pitch the card and it has 6 or more power, you will not generate the if-conditional continuous effect and it will not apply to your next attack this turn.

Keyword notes

Go again - Go again allows multiple actions to be played in a turn when usually playing an action with use up your action point, and therefore end your turn. A card with go again gives the controller of that card or activated ability 1 action point when it resolves.
  • When an action with go again resolves, its controller gains 1 action point.
  • Multiple instances of go again on the same card or activated ability do not stack. If a card or activated ability has multiple instances of go again when it resolves its controller gains 1 action point only.
  • If an action with go again does not resolve, its controller does not gain 1 action point.
  • You cannot reveal a card with no power to Belittle. The card must have a value to its power that is 3 or less. (0 is a value)
