Lobotomy

Lobotomy (Red)

Stealth

When this attacks, you may equip an Orbitoclast from your inventory.

When this hits a hero, if you control an Orbitoclast, they lose all hero card abilities during their next action phase.

Rulings

From the Compendium of Rathe release notes
  • Lobotomy’s second ability triggers when it resolves on the stack and becomes an attacking card. This is an optional effect: you choose whether or not you want to equip an Orbitoclast from your inventory when this triggered effect resolves. If you do, you will equip an Orbitoclast from your inventory.
  • You can fail to find a card named Orbitoclast when resolving the triggered effect from Lobotomy’s second ability.
  • You must have an empty weapon zone with nothing equipped to it when the effect begins to resolve in order to equip the Orbitoclast from your inventory.
  • Lobotomy’s third ability triggers when it hits a hero. Whether or not you currently control an Orbitoclast is checked when the triggered effect resolves. If you do, the hero that was hit loses all hero card abilities during their next action phase. They can still gain hero abilities (e.g. Brainstorm).
