From the Compendium of Rathe release notes
- Crown of Everbloom’s instant-activated ability requires you to destroy it to pay for its cost. After the activated ability resolves, you must put a card from your arsenal on the bottom of your deck. If you put an arsenal card on the bottom of your deck this way, you will draw a card and create a Spellbane Aegis token.
- Paying Crown of Everbloom’s activation cost means that you would no longer be able to use the Arcane Barrier ability on its card. For example, if you would be dealt 3 or more arcane damage in a single event, you cannot apply both Crown of Everbloom’s Arcane Barrier prevention effect then create a Spellbane Aegis using Crown of Everbloom’s activated ability to apply the Spellbane Aegis’ Spellvoid 1.
- Crown of Everbloom’s activated ability can be activated while it is defending.
