Into the Muck (Red)

Into the Muck’s first ability is a play-static ability that sets a restriction on when it can be played: You may only play Into the Muck if you have wagered on the current chain link.

An attack has wagered if a wager effect has been established and that wager’s result is dependent on that attack hitting or not.

For Into the Muck’s second ability, you must choose a non-equipment card that is defending when it resolves. It cannot choose a defense reaction that has not yet resolved on the stack.
